Well, this evening went a little out of plan but what do you do. Aaron and Landon went with David (from South Bay) and some of his team to deliver can-goods that the kids have been collecting here at Kids Games all week to the homeless shelter we are partnering, InnVision! They estimate around 400 lbs of food that was raised by these kids here at South Bay this week. Incredible. Well, with them doing that, they were suppose to arrive back earlier than it actually ended up being. So in waiting for them, we loaded up and went on to the place of the large trees, leaving those 2 and Sarah and Madison behind, in hopes that they would soon follow only an hour later. Unfortunately, due to how long it took with the group unloading and all, they did not arrive back to the hotel until 5 and the group was not up for an hour drive.
With the saddness in our own hearts, the other 7 of us enjoyed our time in the park, with a little bit of hiking, the best picnic ever, b/c I spoil us and buy top of the line everything, and some great driving around the swerving switchbacks. It truly was beautiful to see the creation that God placed for here. I am still personally in awe. I'll post some of the pictures from my phone in just a minute.
Last Day of Kids Games tomorrow....bring it
