This morning I woke up at 2am, 2 hours earlier than expected to get ready for our departure. I spent an hour with the Lord and jumped through some different passages, all which seemed perfect for what we are about to endure this next week in Cali. One verse that stuck out to me was Luke 24:49. Right before Christ's ascension to be seated at the right hand of the Father, He says that He is sending the promise of the Father to us. That being directly the Holy Spirit. It is that Spirit who serves as our guide and counselor. Each member of our team was directed by the Spirit to come on this trip, whether they realize it or not. It is that 3rd part of our Triune God who ushered the movement to Go. And even more so, it is that same Spirit that will guide us and direct us this next week as we work to reach the lost of Christ, ministering to families and children who both know the Gospel and do not. My prayer is that we listen to the Spirit this week and allow Him to use us in a mighty way.
So excited.
